Observatori is a festival dedicated to showcasing performing and visual artists involved in breaking new ground in their prospective fields. Observatori 2004 was held from the 7th until the 10th of October in Valencia, Spain on the grounds of Santiago Calatrava’s Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe. My participation involved three projects: two co-authored by Frank Plant, "F2T" and "Awkward Moment no.2" and the third co-authored by Felix Luque and Iñigo Bilbao Lopategui, "The Machine Manifesto". We exhibited in the Sala Arquerias under the aegis of a part of the exhibit that was curated by Alexander Mittelmann of the gallery Coldcreation based in Barcelona. The primary objective of Mittleman in Observatori 2004 was to gather a group of artistically and culturally diverse artists that are taking their expression in new directions and looking to interact with the public in new and innovative ways. Other artists present were Josep Bofill, Marchesi, Luis Lopez, and Jur Vanstaen, to name a few.
