An oval lamp, made of sand and resin, has been transformed into an electronic keyboard. On the lamp are mounted ten push button switches which, when pressed, trigger different sound samples composed by a musician on a computer interface. Each switch produces a particular sample which can only be heard while activated. Multiple switches may be pressed simultaneously so that several samples can be heard at the same time.
