A brushed stainless steel pedestal topped by a Plexiglas tile. On it stands a metal foot holding two diagonal pulleys connected by a belt. The lower pulley has a motor attached to it which sets the belt in motion. At the top of the metal foot there is a tachometer of six digits - each containing numbers from 0 to 9 - which will start counting from the moment the device is switched on. In this way, time is measured in distance.
